So I have been planning to build a PC to record the beautiful (and free) HDTV I am able to get over the air (OTA, Terrestrial, etc) here in Toronto. This would be in my living room, so I would want it to be as quiet as possible. Here is what I am thinking to buy. I already purchased the TV Tuner Card. I’ve been having some raccoon issues the last few weeks (maybe it has something to do with all the smoked ribs). I found this guy’s innovative solution and thought I would give it a try.
I just stumbled upon the coolest looking product. The Slingbox. This may make my TV watching reach a whole new level. Basically in a nut shell it allows you to access your digital cable or PVR from any windows based PC in the world.
Sounds silly but there have been many times that I have been at work or on the road and I would have loved to watch something. I am thinking about buying it just so I don’t miss any of the World Cup this year!
