I’m still shocked by the selfishness if this act. He says no one ever told him he was a threat, but they flew through Canada as they knew they were on a no fly list on US Airlines…. I guess people who are put on no fly lists aren’t threats. I wonder how much his act cost the Public Health Agency of Canada as they would have to track down everyone he came into contact with on the plane and while he was in Canada.
I wonder what the reaction of the American media would be if it was a Canadian who knew he had this strain if TB and flew into the USA and then crossed the border into Canada….. my guess is that they would be calling for the border to be closed!
I just watched a puff piece interview that Diane Sawyer of G.M.A. had with Speaker and his wife and it was so great hearing about how lovely their wedding was in Santorini. I wish Diane had interviewed some folks on the plane to see how they felt… maybe heard how lovely their families were…. how great their weddings were as well….
